Arkilon Ltd - a new name to reflect our global aspirations

Glasgow, December 17, 2024 - Nekotachi Ltd, a business intelligence and software development company deeply rooted in Scotland and expanding into Japan, is excited to announce that its name is changing to Arkilon Ltd immediately, and will be completing a full rebrand in early 2025.

This change better represents our brand and global ambitions, while also embracing our heritage from being a Scottish company with strong ties to Japan.

Why Arkilon?

The name Arkilon symbolizes the arc of connection bridging the 9,277 kilometers between Glasgow and Tokyo. It draws inspiration from Aquilon, the North Wind that cools both Scotland and Hokkaido, embodying the strength, balance, and continuity that define the company’s ethos.

A new identity for a new chapter

To accompany the rebrand, Arkilon Ltd is unveiling a refreshed visual identity designed to reflect its vision and aspirations:

Our new logo is forward looking, with nods to our history.

• Modern Typography: The new logo features clean, modern typography that highlights the company’s cutting-edge approach to technology.
• Dual Logotypes: Unique English and Japanese versions of the logo have been crafted, signifying Arkilon’s dedication to its customers in both Scotland and Japan.
• Meaningful Colours: We chose the accent colours with care -
  • Purple underlines the logo, representing not only our Scottish foundation and heritage, but also as nod to the primary colour of Nekotachi Ltd.
  • Red represents Japan, and symbolizes growth, strength, and our bold aspirations.

Transitioning to the new brand

Arkilon Ltd remains committed to delivering the same innovation, reliability, and dedication that have driven its success. The rebrand signals an exciting new chapter, positioning the company to better connect, serve, and thrive in a global marketplace.

While the company name change is effective immediately, the rebrand to Arkilon will be completed by February 1, 2025. Clients can expect a seamless transition with no disruption to existing services or relationships.

Our existing websites and e-mail addresses will continue to work, and no action is required from our customers at this time.

We will be launching a new website at https://www.arkilon.com by February 1st 2025, and will redirect all existing pages to ensure an easy transition.

There will be no changes to the provision of our existing products and services. The company name change will be reflected on upcoming invoices.
